We have an exciting opportunity available for one successful candidate, to join a fast growing, successful, national reaching business in the Northamptonshire area.

Your duties require you to work alongside both the Sales and Project Managers within the company, to design and create visionary products that will go on to appear in a number of high-end retail shops! Next time you walk into the likes of Samsung, Debenhams and Boots (to name just a few) you could be looking at a product that you yourself designed and created!

The key responsibilities are as follows:

·You are required to create cost effective design solutions to agreed technical specifications.

·Using Solidworks to produce 3D assemblies, technical detail drawing packs, BOM’s & instruction sheets.

·Identifying potential product improvements and support their implementation.

With the many services our client offers, you will be focused on creating 3D rendered concepts, Artwork and manipulation using Adobe Illustrator.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

·POP Design or retail design experience (this isn’t a must have, but a bonus).

·You must be enthusiastic, hard-working and self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

·HNC or degree qualification in an appropriate discipline (if you can prove your hands on experience within this area but don’t hold a degree, we still want to hear from you)!

·Experience of using Solidworks software is needed so you can hit the ground running and show us your skills!

·Knowledge of manufacturing techniques in plastics, metal and wooden materials.

·IT literate is a must.

·Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and a 3D rendering package (3DS Max, Keyshot, Cinema 4D, Rhino etc.) are advantageous.

You will receive ongoing support and guidance should you need it, which involves weekly if not daily discussions with your frontline manager, who will offer knowledge to you and your ideas, helping you to create a product that could well be your finest to date!

Salary is negotiable and ranges from £20K pa to £30K pa.

Your hours of work are Monday – Friday (yes, no weekends)! From 08:30 – 17:30. Of course, if you are required to pop in on a Saturday to add those finishing touches to your masterpiece, your flexibility is appreciated.
